  You should not even get one star! We are very disappointed in DC Animal Hospital! Our terrier has been seen there for several years. Today our terrier broke her dewclaw and was in a lot of pain. We hopped into our car and called on our way. We were told to go to the DC Highlands Ranch emergency. I told them we needed some to look at her claw and were told we could come with an appointment much later in the day. I told the person on the phone that we were going to another vet because she was in pain. We took our terrier to Brooklyn Veterinary and were seen very quickly! Thank you Brooklyn, you rock!

  We're new to Castle Rock after a recent move from MN and had not established vet service in the area when our dog ate some RAT POISON off the SIDEWALK BY THE PLAYGROUND AT PHILIP MILLER PARK. Why there's rat poison at a city park is a troubling question, but we are very grateful that our dog could be seen right away by Dr Rona Schmidt at the VCA facility in Castle Rock. She took all the necessary steps to ensure our dog was treated quickly and properly to prevent this from turning into a terrible tragedy. A big THANK YOU to Dr Rona and hospital staff. Now onto investigating this matter with the city Parks department to prevent future problems for other pet owners and kids
